Winter exhibition tells story of downtown building

Exhibit goes on display Friday

CHAMPAIGN — The exhibition, "A Wave and A Particle," will be on display from Friday through Dec. 9 at the Indi Go Artist Co-op, 9 E. University Ave.

The artist's reception will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 5.

The exhibition features the work of Randi Stella, a master's of fine arts degree candidate at the University of Illinois.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, the Art Institute of Chicago has opened a new exhibition on food in American art.

"Art and Appetite: American Painting, Culture and Cuisine" spans 250 years, featuring 100 paintings, sculptures and decorative art pieces from the 18th through 20th century.

Downtown galleries planning Holiday Open House
