Web customers fuel 15% rise in Comcast income

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Comcast's second-quarter net income rose 15 percent to nearly $2 billion as it added high-speed Internet customers at a faster pace and video-subscriber losses moderated.

The nation's largest cable provider topped Wall Street estimates and shares edged up in afternoon trading.

'Fargo' gets second season on FX

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — FX is taking another trip to "Fargo," where the cast is changing but some of the characters are not.

The network announced Monday that it has renewed the series for a second season with new actors, time period and crime.

Sure, the ESPYs are self-promoting. At times to a sickening level. But this year's awards show had a winning combination of laughs and sentiment.

Credit host Drake for outperforming expectations. The writers set him up with good material but he had to pull it off. I'd invite him to come back and host next year.
