Kam Fry is a 2011 Urbana High graduate who played receiver for the Illini from 2013-15. These days, Fry has made fitness his profession, founding an organization called N.O.W. (Nothing Over Will) and working with another initiative called Project Athletes that introduces area kids to fitness. Fry stopped by The News-Gazette for a talk with our Marcus Jackson to chat.

Firefighters work to contain a blaze Thursday at 211 W. Linden St., Tolono. Tolono firefighters were assisted by crews from Savoy, Pesotum, Philo and Sadorus. Tolono Assistant Fire Chief Chris Humer said there were no injuries, but the garage and part of the house were destroyed. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
