The Wall That Heals

The Wall That Heals was escorted from St. Joseph to Lake of the Woods near Mahomet by the Champaign County Sheriff's Department, Illinois State Police and the Patriot Guard. The wall's opening ceremony is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday followed by a candlelight vigil at 9 p.m. Saturday and closing ceremony at 3 p.m.

Joel and Laura Furrer rode on the porch of their new house, to its new location in St. Joseph. The couple bought the house for $1 from the St. Joseph-Ogden Community High School District and moved it to a new lot on Third Street, one block east, and 1/2 a block south of its original location near the high school on Main Street.
