The University of Illinois women's volleyball team held a Chop Chef competition on Thursday, Feb. 28, to raise money for a trip to Europe. The day began at 8 a.m. at a local grocery store where each team of chefs was given 15 minutes to shop on a $100 budget. The chefs spent the afternoon chopping, mixing, and preparing food for the big event. Hot dishes, cold dishes, soups, and entrees were served by each contestant. The winner, the John Comet team, was determined by votes from the guest judges as well as from the participants.
