Women's Suffrage March

The Delta Sigma Theta sorority's alumnae chapter held a women's suffrage march, Saturday morning at the Independent Media Center in Urbana. The march was in honor of the 22 founders of the sorority who participated in the women's suffrage march 100 years ago. Along with visitors and co-sponsors of the event, the sorority marched around Lincoln Square, chanting phrases like: "Not the church; not the state; women must decide their fate."
