Position Title: Clinical Specialist in Education
Outreach & Prevention Educator
The University of Illinois Counseling Center is hiring a Clinical Specialist in Education. The primary
function of this position is to serve as a generalist for clinical service provision. Additionally, the
Clinical Specialist in Education will educate
students in health education related to developing and increasing low risk habits related to alcohol, drugs and other substances including process
addictions. The Clinical Specialist of Education may teach courses and/or provide training related to peer education and prevention.
Master’s in social work, counseling or psychology, or Doctorate in clinical, clinical/community,
counseling psychology, or related field is required. Degree must be completed by start date. License in Illinois or license eligible background as a
psychologist is required for candidates with a
doctorate degree. Licensed LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Illinois or license eligible background is required for candidates with a master’s level degree. See full job description at
