Storeroom & Inventory Control Clerk

The Urbana & Champaign Sanitary District has an opening for a Storeroom & Inventory Control Clerk. Data processing functions include work

order entry, purchase orders, parts and vendor maintenance, inventory movement, and time

records. Other functions include shipping and

receiving, procurement, tool and inventory

distribution, and running errands. The position

requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, good communication and customer service skills as well as experience with Microsoft Office programs. Candidates for this position must

possess the ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions, be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders and stairs. Previous experience in a storeroom or parts department is preferred, but not required.
