Assistant Manager, Engagement Center (UIUC)

The University of Illinois Foundation (Foundation) is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving organization of the University of Illinois (University). It works closely with alumni and friends, faculty and staff, corporations and foundations, as well as

campus development professionals to create

fundraising programs and opportunities that

benefit the University.

The Assistant Manager, Engagement Center will assist with co-managing the UIF Engagement

Center located in Champaign, Illinois under the

direction of the Engagement Center Manager. This position will co-manage engagement center

activity including outbound telephone solicitation, texting, stewardship, cultivation, event reminder calling, and other activities on behalf of the

University of Illinois System. They will assist with co-managing day to day logistics of the

engagement center, including analyzing and

managing telemarketing and texting efforts in

collaboration with university teams, colleges, and units through the use of a software packages which includes project analysis, report generating, and creating segmentation and strategy.

Coordinate, investigate, and launch new

telemarketing or texting initiatives. Coordinate with staff to implement solicitation, stewardship, and outreach strategies. Works to optimize process

efficiency and cost effectiveness of the

telemarketing and texting operation. Performs

administrative duties including the preparation of reports and correspondence. Kicks off shifts and remains on-call during all shifts. Prepares and

organizes presentations and remains on-site

during scheduled shifts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

• Evening work is required regularly, weekend and

special outreach work are required as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Driver’s license and access to vehicle as needed

• Supervisory experience

• Experience in an engagement center or call

center
