CHAMPAIGN -- COVID-19 cases in Champaign County rose by 23 Tuesday, while other metrics continued to decline.
The number of cases currently active fell by 25, to 383, according to the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District.
The health district had 278 close contacts of cases under quarantine, 19 fewer than the day before.
The number of Champaign County residents hospitalized with COVID remained nine.
Champaign county has had 27,048 COVID cases to date.
