A “wrap up meeting” in regards to the Bob Nutt/Blytham Ltd. Tribute Concert took place Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Champaign. A giant check was presented to Rob Dalhaus III, the executive director of C-U at Home, in Nutt’s name. For the concert at Champaign’s Virginia Theatre, musicians from all across the country came back to perform and honor Nutt, and other music industry notables provided thoughts and remembrances on how Nutt affected their careers. Nutt was a onetime impresario of the music scene not only in cental Illinois, but all across the Midwest. In total, the concert raised $10, 023.18 for C-U at Home — and 21 nights of shelter will be funded in Nutt’s name this winter at C-U at Home. C-U at Home’s mission is to engage and mobilize the community to house and support the most vulnerable homeless on their journey of healing and restoration.
