Church League softball at Dodds Park in Champaign continues through the coronavirus pandemic — with some changes. No spectators are allowed in the park; they must watch from the outfield fences. Game starts are staggered to alleviate congestion on the sidewalks. Warm ups are to be done outside of the complex. The Champaign Park District has site supervisors to enforce compliance with the rules. Bleachers and scoring stands are roped off to dissuade occupancy, and signs to remind of social distancing are in every dugout. Masks are optional on the field.
