URBANA — A Champaign woman who admitted she had cocaine for sale in her home last summer has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Mykeshia Lipscomb, 32, whose last known address was in the 900 block of Pomona Drive, pleaded guilty Tuesday before Champaign County Judge Tom Difanis to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

She admitted that on Aug. 22, there was an ounce of powder cocaine and about a half-ounce of crack cocaine in her home when police raided it, conducting a court-ordered search.

Her then-boyfriend, Marquis Miles, 24, of Indianapolis, was convicted by a jury in November of the same offense and sentenced in January to 15 years in prison.
