URBANA — Champaign County Crime Stoppers needs help finding the people who fired shots in a residential neighborhood of Urbana earlier this month.

About 7:20 p.m. on June 8, two black males, about 18 to 25, allegedly approached the 800 block of North Romine Street through an alley and began firing guns.

A house and a vehicle were struck by the gunfire, but no one was apparently injured.

The young men were seen running west through the alley. There were no descriptions provided for them.

If you have information on these shootings, please contact Crime Stoppers at 217-373-8477, 373tips.com or via the P3 Tips mobile app.

Tipsters are always completely anonymous when contacting Crime Stoppers. All tips are electronically stripped of any personally identifying information and processed by a third-party answering service.

Tipsters will never be asked their name and are given a secret code number to use when checking on a possible reward. Cash rewards of up to $1,000 may be paid on tips that lead to an arrest.
