CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. gained 4.75 cents at $7.4075 a bushel; Mar. corn rose 1.50 cents at $6.7550 a bushel; Mar. oats advanced 12 cents at $3.82 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans was up .50 cent at 14.95 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb. live cattle was up .10 cent at $1.5737 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle rose .15 cent at $1.7910 a pound; Feb. lean hogs fell .90 cent at $.7655 a pound.
