OGDEN — Homes and businesses in Ogden using landline telephones lost 911 service Tuesday afternoon.

Chamapign County METCAD Deputy Director Jeff Wooten said 132 households are affected.

“We were notified by Frontier at 2:20 p.m. that service went down at that time,” Wooten said. “Crews have been dispatched to work on the problem.”

Wooten said there is no estimate when 911 service will be restored in Ogden.
