Are you a racist? A bigot? Do you think anyone who looks different from you doesn’t deserve to access the opportunities we have in America? (Do you think it is OK for anyone to be a racist, even the president of a diverse country?) Then vote for Trump!

A strong public university system — like we have in Illinois — is good for the state as a whole. It fosters innovation, strengthens cities and rural areas, keeps educational costs down, and discourages ambitious students from leaving for more glamorous parts of the country.

Ending human lives is wrong, even when our government does it. Even in a just war (and America’s wars are not just), where one confronts an unjust aggressor, the aim is to stop the aggression, rather than kill the aggressor’s citizens, although that is often the consequence.
