CHAMPAIGN — Illinois football announced its full training camp schedule on Wednesday, with Lovie Smith’s program set to conduct 14 open practices.

The majority of the workout sessions will take place at the Campus Recreation Fields in Urbana, the site of training camp each of the last two years under Smith. The first practice of training camp is set from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday, Aug. 2, with the last practice taking place from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17 at Memorial Stadium.

Fan Appreciation Day is slated for 6-7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 at Memorial Stadium.

All practices are free and open to the public. Free parking is available in campus lot F23 just south of the Florida Avenue Residence Hall. Parking will not be allowed along Goodwin Avenue.

In case of inclement weather, practice may change locations and be closed to the public.
