Our college football writer is counting down the days until the 2019 season. Here are the Illini most likely to get the call in the 2020 NFL Draft:

1. Bobby Roundtree, Defensive end

Just a hunch the Floridian leaves school a year early. Especially if he continues to make the improvement he showed during a 7 1 / 2-sack sophomore season. His motor figures to be popular with NFL scouts.

2. Reggie Corbin, Running back

Averaging 8.5 yards per carry in 2019, the senior will try to become the first Illini with consecutive 1,000-yard seasons since Antoineo Harris in 2001-02. What he would really like is a trip to a bowl game.

3. Trevon Sidney, Wide receiver

Southern Cal transfer hasn't even officially joined the team. But when he does, he should move into the rotation immediately at a need position. Somebody will catch the passes thrown by a yet-to-be-decided quarterback.
