2. Tuscola, 29-3 (1)
Warriors mostly dominated regular season before being stunned by Shelbyville in regional opener, still led area in wins.
3. Villa Grove, 24-13 (—)
Rugged schedule benefited Blue Devils, who made it all the way to Class 1A super-sectional before falling to St. Bede.
4. Mahomet-Seymour, 19-11 (4)
Bulldogs stalled by Apollo foe Charleston in Class 3A regional final to conclude year, which featured wins versus Villa Grove.
5. Salt Fork, 23-7 (3)
Balanced Storm won 12 of final 14 games, but saw season end at hands of Villa Grove in Class 1A sectional title contest.
6. St. Joseph-Ogden, 22-10 (5)
Spartans a bit down compared to recent years, but still won 11th straight regional title behind Dowling/Dukeman combo.
7. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, 17-8 (7)
Falcons and standout pitcher Madi Eberle nearly ousted Unity in a Class 2A sectional semifinal, still fared well overall.
8. Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond, 24-7 (6)
Superb season saw Knights capture second regional crown under coach Jerry Lane, win 13 of their last 14 showdowns.
9. Fisher, 20-10 (9)
Bunnies won Class 1A regional title, then made life difficult for Villa Grove in sectional semifinal before ultimately falling.
10. LeRoy, 23-10 (10)
Panthers were clipped by Heyworth in a Class 1A regional final to conclude strong season, which started at with 4-4 mark.
